The Jesus cross pendant — each one bears his own cross.

In accordance with Orthodox canons, seasoned professionals at the Lobortas Classic Jewellery House created this six-pointed neck cross. Within its form, Orthodox Christians see symbols of unrepentant sin and the liberation through repentance — echoes of ancient faith carved into sacred geometry. According to legend, the cross on which the Savior was crucified was felled from three species of wood: cypress, pine, and cedar. The jewellers managed to convey three parts of the cross through varying wood texture.

The classical Orthodox crucifix merges two hypostases of the Savior: the Human and the Divine.

Thus, the crucifixion, delicately painted in the picturesque technique of finift jewellery enamel on the cross pendant of Jesus seems to hover in the air — Christ the Victor, arms open to all who turn their thoughts and lives toward Him.

The unearthly beauty and saving power of this symbol radiate like divine rays — a reminder that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit offer Salvation to all who believe.

Through fine engraving, finift, and hot cloisonné Byzantine enamels on gold, jewellers crafted this sacred masterpiece.
