The world was created in six days, it is such a time period was chosen by the Lord, who delivered his word to the chosen peoples, that the World Structure in itself is linked to the number of the "six" (the Oral Torah, which describes the world as a whole, consists of the six sections).
One triangle of the Star of David is up-directed. Two lines are heading down to the apexes of the triangle from the one point. Many sages believe that this is the idea of the World's Creation process. Top point indicates the Almighty God and that He is unique. In the process of Creation, however, there were created the notions of opposites: left – right, good and evil, the movement forward and derogation back...
The apex of the second triangle of Star of David is facing downwards. From two apexes, distant from each other, the lines converge – in the bottom point, the third one. And in this is the idea of the very existence of the human race, its protopurpose – to combine harmoniously the notion of opposites, personified by the bottom apex of the triangle. The opposites that are identified by the first triangle, the "right" and "left" hands of the created world, good and evil, and balance between them.
In this way Magen David was created. It is the recognition of the Creator, higher and single. And the purpose of human life. The purposes of the Creation.
