The sculptural composition Show Jumping is a key addition to the conceptual 21st Century Sports collection by Lobortas. It was developed following a series of consultations with professional equestrians, which made it possible to capture the true dynamics of the competition with maximum accuracy. In this work, the realism of the bronze statuary enters into a complex dialogue with the abstraction of the mineral base, creating a tension between physical reality and artistic concept.

The masterful metalwork emphasises the anatomical precision and perfection of every element. The determined figure of the woman rider — from the delicate bridle to that moment of peak concentration — embodies the intense focus and energy gathered in the run‑up to the decisive jump. Before her stands a glass structure of intricate design. It is a metaphorical representation of those invisible barriers that each of us encounters on our journey through life. At the same time, this clear glass symbolises the very energy needed to overcome obstacles and achieve true success. After all, sometimes the most important victory is the one you win over yourself.

The foundation of the composition is formed by grassy‑green serpentinite, symbolising natural power and stability. The barrier support, shaped as a stylised Jarylgach Lighthouse, serves as a reliable reference point, indicating the right path even in moments of deep uncertainty. The noble glint of black diamonds in the horse’s eyes draws attention. These almost imperceptible details highlight the premium quality of the craftsmanship and the special bond between the participants in this challenge.
