Gold ring “Chess Étude”. A small but proud nation enters a chessboard and starts their life full of danger. Human thought and imagination inspires the chess army and regardless of their aristocracy they start playing wonderful plays. Most of them are dramas or tragedies, but comedies also happen. In the moment when the chess player touches the piece he becomes an observer. The observer who does not know what the end will be. The observer who supports and admires every movement. Simple wooden pieces are able to touch the chessboard and the soul.
Creating the precious “Chess Étude” the jewelers used an old and complicated technique of hot parceled enamel. It is as old as chess. As an old game, hot parceled enamel needs thinking on every movement, because a single wrong step can destroy previous ones. Engraving on the ring is handmade and has an unusual optical effect of light variations.
Gold ring “Chess Étude”. This aristocratic Étude was played by the masters of the Lobortas Classic Jewelry House. There are no more pawns on the chessboard. Only a few black and white chess pieces are there to play the final part of the game.
