The legend of The Flying Dutchman, a ship lingering eternally upon the seas, carries mystery, power and symbolizes endless movement. In the precious ring of The Flying Dutchman, an olden myth has received a novel interpretation – it reveals the image of a ghost ship, embodied in the sparkle of stones, which flies through time with golden sails casting light backwards to illuminate its eternal journey.

The architectural composition of the ring resembles a fantastic sailing vessel soaring above the waves. At the centre of the composition, there is a large citrine in warm honey and amber tones, crowned with a marquise-cut tourmaline set using the unique technique of ‘stone-in-stone’. On both sides, the stone is framed by mirror-polished gold plates – like sun-wings that catch and amplify the light, scattering it throughout the structure.

On four sides, the central composition is guarded by diamonds, like the navigation lights of a windjammer ploughing its way through the darkness. The edge of the shank is set with demantoids and decorated with hand engraving reminiscent of the decorative elements of an antique hull created by master craftsmen of ancient shipyards. Gold glitters in the warmth of the sun, stones sparkle like sea spray, conjuring the image of a legendary ship fated to sail forever through the expanses of imagination.

In the jewellery architecture of The Flying Dutchman, the central stone becomes the true King, the ruler of radiance, around whom everything revolves, as the entire design bows before his sovereign brilliance, embodying the harmony of stone and form.
