In the composition of the Ethnos earrings, the jewellers at the House of Lobortas have reimagined a design from Ukrainian embroidery into precious form — a sacred, cross-shaped pattern that has served for generations as a protective charm, a sign of identity, and a thread connecting people to their roots.

The unique setting of the diamonds allows each stone to reveal its brilliance to the fullest, capturing every ray of light and transforming it into a dazzling shine, while the intricate architecture of the earrings echoes the geometry of ethnic ornamentation.

The outer blocks, each composed of three diamonds, seem to gaze outward from the centre — a gesture of expansion, symbolising the spread of culture and its influence on the world. In contrast, the diamonds face one another in the inner blocks, with their proximity enhancing the radiance reflected between them. This mutual illumination creates a unified, powerful glow, evoking the image of inner harmony and interconnectedness — the true strength of communion.

The earrings of Ethnos stand as a modern jewellery interpretation of a traditional motif. They combine the graphic nature of folk ornamentation with the perfection of cut diamonds, creating jewels that look both refined and ancestrally rooted.
