The sun glides in gold over the waves of a sapphire‑blue sea, sparkling with splashes of diamonds. With its excited whisper, the sea beckons one to plunge into its vast, serene waters.

In the precious ring Serene Waters, the jewellers at the House of Lobortas have captured the very breath of the elements, reflecting it in gold and sapphires. Their dark blue hues come together in a rhythmic flow reminiscent of streaming water. Between them sparkle diamonds — modest but decisive accents of light, like sunbeams playing on the waves, disappearing instantly only to be reborn.

Thanks to the unique setting, each stone receives its own source of radiance. The jewellers chose a technique in which the setting points almost dissolve into the metal, giving way to optical space. Light glides between sapphires, reflecting off the facets of diamonds to create an effect of internal luminescence.

The ring’s edge is decorated with delicate engraving reminiscent of waves. Creating a tactile relief, the engraved patterns complement the beauty of the diffused light, directing it back into the stones and enhancing the effect of radiance.
