A pair of men’s cufflinks “Le Corbusier” is the sample of the Modulor system and the golden ratio use in micro-architecture!

Every age gives birth to its prophets, pioneer-discoverers, innovators. One of the cult-figures of the XX century was undoubtedly a Swiss-French modern pioneer-architect Le Corbusier. Being a “subverter” of routine foundations, he has reconstructed the whole century after his own fashion. Le Corbusier rejected out-of-date building “apparel“ and offered a new “wardrobe”, having worked out his famous Modulor system – “range of harmonious measurements to suit the human scale, universally applicable to architecture and to mechanical things”.

The “Le Corbusier” cufflinks represent the distillation of the great architect’s style. The golden aerial capacity-blocks, level terraces and “transparent”, easy-to-look-through casually-free forms are the characteristic showings of Le Corbusier’s architecture. The masters of the Classical Jewellery House “Lobortas” managed to personify the idea in the jewellery micro-architecture, having created a spatial pattern where the genius’s technique and the golden ratio make a single whole.

Gold cufflinks “Le Corbusier” are distinctively original and abundantly enchased with diamonds.
