Breast badge "Legion of Honour of France" is not just the cachet and a symbol of belonging to an organization of the worthy of merit. On the other hand, as General de Gaulle said: "Legion of Honour is an elite community of the living people".

Artisans of the Lobortas Classic Jewellery House recreated the Legion of National Order of the Legion of Honour in the shape of the miniature breast badge. This status sign repeats the highest award of France of 1962.

Five-pointed star with dovetails is covered with white enamel. By tradition of 1806, dovetails are topped with small gold balls. A laurel wreath lurks between the dovetails. Central medallion of gold crowns the image of the female profile. This place used to be decorated with a profile of Napoleon Bonaparte; woman's profile, symbol of the Republic, appeared on the order only in 1870 (the Third French Republic).

Gold medallion is surrounded with blue enamel ring with the inscription: "REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE" and a small five-pointed star.

Such breast badge is a real work of art, because in a small jewellery masterpiece artisans of Lobortas used the most complicated equipment, carefully repeating in gold and hot enamels one of the most respected awards in the world.
