On the thirteenth day of January, within the hallowed halls of the Vatican, a grand event of solemnity was held in honor of the fifth year since the inception of Athletica Vaticana.

His Holiness, Pope Francis, graciously received delegates from Athletica Vaticana, the esteemed multi-sport association birthed half a decade ago, in a private audience.

In his eloquent discourse, the Holy Father made note of the auspicious timing of their gathering, taking place in the nascent days of 2024, a year marked by the Olympic and Paralympic spirit.

As part of the festivities commemorating the fifth anniversary of Athletica Vaticana, a meeting of great significance took place. The President of the Union Cycliste Internationale, David Lappartient*, was granted an audience with His Holiness, Pope Francis.
