Gala Night in Club de la Chasse et de La Nature
November 10, 2023
On November 10, in the heart of old Paris, a splendid château at 60 Rue des Archives hosted a gala evening of art and elegance. 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐝𝐞 𝐥𝐚 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞 𝐞𝐭 𝐝𝐞 𝐋𝐚 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬 in collaboration with the philanthropic organization Association “Paris-Ukraine Île de France”, led by Salome V., welcomed the House of Lobortas to present their new collection of exquisite works inspired by hunting and fishing themes.
The event gathered collectors, château and distillery owners, and business leaders from different parts of the world, who enjoyed fine wine and stimulating conversations, while also supporting charitable causes and the protection of the highest values.
The 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐝𝐞 𝐥𝐚 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞 𝐞𝐭 𝐝𝐞 𝐋𝐚 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬, is a museum founded by François and Jacqueline Sommer in 1964 dedicated to hunting weapons, trophies, and works of art related to hunting. The museum also houses a foundation that was publicly recognized by a decree of November 30, 1966.
The foundation aims to promote the value of humanistic ecology in society and to act with respect for human dignity and sustainable use of natural resources. The foundation fosters a peaceful dialogue between all nature users, uniting both hunters and nature lovers. The ancient grandeur of the château and the richness of its exhibits enhanced the beauty and craftsmanship of the art objects created by the House of Lobortas. The gala evening was a memorable occasion that celebrated art, culture, and nature.
