From December 12, 2024 to January 10, 2025
On the 10th of December, the illustrious exhibition of Unique Sculpture was ceremoniously inaugurated in one of the most resplendent venues – the Mirror Hall of the Lviv National Opera. For the first time in its 33-year history, the House of Lobortas unveils its exquisite jewellery sculpture collection to the discerning public of Lviv.
Among the distinguished guests at this landmark art event were Ivan Sobko, Deputy Head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Vasyl Vovkun, General Director and Artistic Director of the Lviv National Opera, and Anastasia Lobortas, Creative Director of the Lobortas Classic Jewellery House.
“We often proclaim the abundance of our artisans, yet we falter in presenting their masterpieces with due reverence. Igor Lobortas, with his profound insight, embarked on a monumental journey over three decades ago,” Vasyl Vovkun remarked in his welcoming address. “The Lviv National Opera’s ethos is that every square metre of our theatre should resonate with the language of art, and I am convinced these works harmonize splendidly with the Mirror Hall’s interior.”
The Lobortas Classic Jewellery House extends its heartfelt gratitude to the event’s attendees, our cherished friends – true aficionados of contemporary jewellery art.
In recent years, our creative team has delved deeply into philosophical, religious, sports, and national-patriotic themes, which have become the leitmotif of the Lviv exhibition. Upon entering the exhibition, visitors are greeted by one of our latest masterpieces – a dynamic composition depicting an enchanter Cossack holding sabres, with his tattered cloak unfurling as a map of Ukraine.
We cordially invite you to experience this exhibition in the Mirror Hall of the theatre until January 10, 2025.
