A miniature firearm remains a firearm, no matter what ultra-small caliber it is. It would seem
that kinetic weapons cannot be so small, but the experience of artisans proves the opposite.
Yet at the dawn of the firearms era, artisans began to make exact copies thereof while not
only preserving the military qualities of the original, but also multiplying them with the jewelry
beauty of reduced doubles.
The Nagant rifle made by the Lobortas Classic Jewelry House is a collectible precious
specimen. Artisans created a miniature copy of the famous Nagant rifle while reducing the
size by half.
The history of Nagant rifles is quite short. It is known that, before the World War I, a batch of
such weapons was released specifically for the border troops. Nevertheless, the mounted
border guards negatively perceived the innovation and most of these weapons were used by
the ranks of technical troops. Now, most of the Nagant rifles have been destroyed.
A small number of copies allowing you to imagine what the Nagant rifles used to look like
have been preserved.
Made of steel and wood, a smaller copy of the Nagant rifle is decorated with floral ornaments
and symbols that remind of the history of this firearm. Ultra-small weapons, however, are
designed to fire .22 BB Cap ammunition.
The Nagant rifle is a worthy example of the arsenal of weapons.
