Feature:

It has been made to use .22 BB Cap ammunition by the Czech company of Sellier & Bellot. The author skillfully applied the adapter system (adapter shell) to use the Flobert type ammunition.

Degtyaryov's submachine gun became one of the first most successful Soviet developments in the class of SMG. It became the main automatic weapon of the Red Army in the Soviet-Finnish war of 1939-1940, and in time of the Great Patriotic War, it was staffed by officers. Its main advantage was that it was shorter and lighter than Soviet and foreign samples: PPSh-41, Finnish Suomi KP/-31 and German MP 40.
