The Lefaucheux type pinfire revolver is a unique work of art that always hits the target!
Since XVI gunsmiths have made miniature copies of existing weapons. The manufacture of weapons with ultra-small caliber has always been a kind of test of the skill, accuracy and thoroughness. Reduced version should not only repeat the original firearms in detail, but also remain weapons in its essence. That is, it shall shoot and hit!
The Lefaucheux type pinfire revolver is a copy of the creation of Casimir Lefaucheux, French gunsmith. Based on the tests, the Lefaucheux revolvers were recognized as the best of the existing ones at the expense of the simplicity of design and the application of the unitary cartridge.
A reduced scale copy of the small Lefaucheux revolver shoots .22 BB Cap "Flaubert" type bullets (universal ammunition for most types of miniature firearms). A pinfire cartridge has long been obsolete and artisans of the "Lobortas" House had to create a miniature to use another type of cartridges. This ultra-difficult task equals to the invention and development of the new revolver type. Artisans of the Classic Jewelry House "Lobortas" decorated the steel parts of the revolver with the classic plant ornaments, as well as closures crafted out of mammoth tusk with an interwoven ornament.
The Lefaucheux type mini-revolver is in one and a half times smaller than the original one. These dimensions are not accidental. Artisans of the "Lobortas" House can create indefinitely small copies, but such super small weapons must not only be pleasing to the eye. They should be placed in hand!
The Lefaucheux type pinfire revolver is a collector's masterpiece, firearms with small size and "big weight".
