For the first time in the world, a piece of jewelry (pectoral cross "Tree of Life" by Classic Jewelry House "Lobortas") was in outer space at an altitude of 420 kilometers from the Earth's surface.

November 7, 2013, the crew of the ISS Expedition 39, consisting of the Mikhail Tyurin, Commander of the Soyuz TMA-11M spacecraft, Koichi Vakata, Japanese engineer, and Richard Mastracchio, representative of the NASA, delivered three crosses "Tree of Life" by artisans of Classic Jewelry House "Lobortas" to the International Space Station in commemoration of the 1025th anniversary of the baptism of Rus. May 14, 2014, having made 3006 circuits of the Earth and having flown more than 128 million kilometers for 188 days, the crosses were back to Earth.

To mark this event, the House of Lobortas created a jeweled gift set entitled "Altitude" that includes a stylized first satellite and the exact jewelry copy of the Start Key, with which a command to launch the spacecraft was given.

Flowering tree, the tree of life is one of the oldest symbolic artifacts of spiritual culture of humankind. It symbolizes the central axis of the world and connects heavens and earth, man and his journey to spiritual heights, hidden wisdom and the mysterious laws of being. In antiquity, it was associated with mystical forces of nature and the existence of Divine Providence that lets a person know his destiny and uncover life potential. The God's tree granted new life to humanity. That was a preimage of uniting many characters in one jeweled cross "Tree of Life".

There is a prophetic combination in one of the most ancient Christian symbols, the cross "Tree of Life" and a symbol of the latest technologies, the Start Key, turn of which gives a command to launch the spacecraft.
