«Hotei»

Boxwood Tree Sculpture

Eastern legend says that Hotei, ancient Chinese monk, whose name means "Cloth Sack" and comes from the bag that he is conventionally depicted as carrying, was endowed with cheerful temper and brought joy. To those places, which he visited, invariably came joy and success. For that quality, he later was called a symbol of happiness, success and health in Japan.

Oriental wisdom, though, as warm waves around the world, has a tremendous impact on the vision of the well-being of many nations, which comprehended that wisdom much later, but accepted it as sample in many aspects of life.

Interior object "Hotei", talentedly crafted out of boxwood, will inhale the atmosphere of comfort, satisfaction and absolute harmony in its new home, where it would once enter as a symbol of well-being of the owner. Ideal lines of the work, as well as soft, soothing shade, in which "Hotei" is made, will perfectly complement an interior of the office, whose owner is purposeful and confident in the success of his own endeavors.
