In the new rooms of the State Hermitage Museum there was hosted the exhibition "Rooms to the Memory of Fabergé" and awarding ceremony of patrons and sponsors of the Hermitage.

A film about the creation of an exhibition "Rooms to the Memory of Fabergé" was presented within the framework of the event, as well as there were held the masterclasses of artists, the State Hermitage specialists in restoration of metals, gems and graphic arts. The reception on the occasion of the opening of the new exhibition was attended by the Chairman of the International Advisory Board of the State Hermitage Museum, the director of the British Museum (London) Neil MacGregor.
Words of welcome by Mikhail Piotrovsky, Director of the State Hermitage Museum, started the triumph of celebration. In his words he thanked I.Y. Lobortas, Head of the Classic Jewelry House "Lobortas", and accepted from his hand the unique brooch with diamonds, created from the only jewelry sketch of great Russian artist Mikhail Aleksandrovich Vrubel.
